TriCipher's myOneLogin Achieves Major Milestones in First Half of '09

New customers, industry validation of identity management in the cloud, and product expansion fuel traction toward another hallmark year

LOS GATOS, Calif., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- TriCipher, the leader in on-demand identity services, today announced that the company is seeing widespread traction and validation of identity management in the cloud. Within the first half of this year, the company has seen rapid adoption of its myOneLogin service, with many new customer wins, new partners, and industry recognition for its approach to on-demand federation and multi-factor authentication.

For businesses that use Web applications like Google Apps and Salesforce.com, TriCipher's myOneLogin delivers the convenience of single sign-on coupled with the essential security of strong multi-factor authentication. Google Apps Premier users can use their Google login for access to multiple SaaS applications. For Web application vendors, myOneLogin Identity Services enable multi-protocol federation and strong authentication services that can be deployed in hours using simple Web Services calls.

"2009 is the year that identity and access control expands its reach beyond the firewall, into the cloud, as businesses increase their deployment of cloud-based applications for vital business processes," said John De Santis, CEO of TriCipher. "myOneLogin offers the unique combination of standards-based single sign-on and multi-factor authentication that protects businesses from the kind of password-based attacks that we hear about in the news daily. We're seeing tremendous uptake of myOneLogin, from both Web application developers and businesses relying on Web applications."

Recent myOneLogin milestones include:

Over 1,000 applications supported: TriCipher supports more than 1,000 Web applications for its myOneLogin secure single sign-on service, and now offers businesses the ability to easily add their own Web-based applications automatically.

Increased SaaS Vendor Adoption: More Software-as-a-Service vendors are choosing myOneLogin Identity Services to enhance their applications with federation and/or strong authentication. New SaaS vendors using myOneLogin include:

  • Host Analytics, a provider of on-demand corporate performance management.
  • PivotLink, a leader in on-demand business intelligence.
  • eXpresso, a provider of online document collaboration solutions for business.

New integration partners: New partnerships are helping the company extend the reach and scope of its solutions. TriCipher and NetStar-1 are developing joint on-demand identity management services. Persistent Systems is offering a joint solution for integrating myOneLogin with Oracle's Siebel CRM using Oracle Identity Federation.

New customers across many verticals: Businesses of all sizes are adopting myOneLogin Secure Single Sign-On to secure and simplify Web application access. New customers include large technology companies, manufacturers, government agencies and nonprofit organizations.

Enterprise integration: By connecting with enterprise identity management solutions including Sun OpenSSO Enterprise, CA Federation Manager, IBM Tivoli and Novell Access Manager, myOneLogin gives businesses a single logon to all of their applications. The solution also supports multiple identity federation standards including SAML, Microsoft's WS-Federate and ADFS and will soon support OpenID. myOneLogin also integrates with leading SSL VPNs and delivers strong authentication for access to applications inside the firewall.

Validated defense against password attacks: Security and compliance experts at Neohapsis have validated myOneLogin's performance and security capabilities, including its use of best practices to protect users from phishing and password theft.

Product innovation: TriCipher has extended myOneLogin Identity Services to include auto provisioning using federation standards. With this capability, Web application providers can pass or receive the user attributes necessary to support automated provisioning between partners.

What customers are saying

"Using the sample code provided by TriCipher for myOneLogin Identity Services, we were able to add federation support to the eXpresso service in about 4 hours," said Gavin Harnett, VP of Product Marketing at eXpresso.
