NetBeans IDE 6.7.1 with JavaFX and JetBrains Web IDE Early Access are ready for download. In their own words here are some of the benefits these releases deliver.
NetBeans IDE 6.7.1
An update to the 6.7 release release that is integrated with Project Kenai, a collaborative environment for developers to host open-source projects. With Kenai and the NetBeans IDE, a team of developers is able to create projects, check out, edit, debug, build, discuss, and commit code, all through one easy-to-use interface. The release also builds on the success of NetBeans 6.5 with native support for Maven; GlassFish, issue tracker and Hudson integrations; and enhancements to Java, PHP, Ruby, Groovy and C/C++. Highlights of the 6.7 release include support for JavaScript 1.7, Ruby Remote Debugging, and integration of the Java ME SDK 3.0.
The NetBeans IDE 6.7.1 includes the following changes:
- Support for JavaFX 1.2
- Upgrade of GlassFish v3 Prelude to include fixes from build #28f
- Integration of important bug fixes based on user feedback, especially in the Java Editor and project scanning areas

JetBrains Web IDE
JetBrains Web IDE, a new specialized development environment for web authoring and PHP programming. JetBrains Web IDE is the third product built on top of the IntelliJ IDEA platform, after RubyMine, Ruby on Rails IDE and MPS, the Meta Programming System. This means Web IDE inherits IntelliJ IDEA's advanced features for editing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, working with VCS, SQL, and it also adds extended PHP support and other tools specific to web development.
Web IDE 1.0 will be available in Q4 2009 in 2 editions:
- Standard Edition, containing everything web and JavaScript developers and coders may need in their daily work.
- PHP Developer Edition, providing additional advanced coding assistance for PHP development (syntax and error highlighting, navigation, code completion, refactoring, debugger etc.) and facilities for working with databases
