HOUSTON, September 8, 2009 – Having an old-fashioned static Web site failed to reflect Tony Chachere’s Creole Foods’ fun and lively image. With the help of Schipul – The Web Marketing Company (www.schipul.com) and Tendenci online management software (www.tendenci.com), the Creole food company has launched www.tonychachere.com, a new upgraded Web site that is loaded with flavor.
Tony Chachere’s is a beloved brand of Southern Louisiana delicacies. Everything from Creole seasoning and rice mixes to sausage, marinades and Turduchens is available at Tony Chachere’s online store. Beyond the ability to conveniently buy online, the new Web site brings the company and its products to life, with the ability to search and rate recipes, post reviews, watch videos and read about the latest developments from the test kitchen.
“The Web plays a huge role in our branding efforts by giving us an opportunity to stay connected with our tens of thousands of passionate fans and reach those who have never heard of Tony Chachere’s before,” said Todd Ardoin, creative director with Tony Chachere’s. “Tendenci has a range of capabilities that encourage interactivity that get the cooking community involved with the brand and keep them coming back.”
With Tendenci’s easy-to-use content management system (CMS), Tony Chachere’s employees can keep the site fresh and tasty by adding and editing content without going through a third party. Tendenci’s integrated Really Simple Syndication (RSS) enables site users to subscribe to receive updates. Additionally, a blog is planned to help Tony Chachere’s food scientists connected to the interests and ideas of their community.
Schipul – The Web Marketing Company designed the new Web site and is providing social media consulting services.
