Customers can apply digital signatures to Adobe PDF files, publish certified documents, add controls that expressly define who can open, view, print and copy, and dynamically revoke or expire documents. Now, tighter integration allows customers to apply these capabilities at different points in the workflow providing more control over applying policy and rules of a business process.
Some of the largest financial services companies in the world are using the Adobe LiveCycle platform. For example, the nation's largest tax preparer H&R Block uses LiveCycle for increasing internal efficiencies during tax season. "H&R Block has leveraged the Adobe LiveCycle server platform to automate forms processing related to hiring up to 120,000 part-time employees during tax season," said Neal Shaw, chief architect for H&R Block Information Technology.
"Applicants can download and complete forms electronically using the free Adobe Reader software. By using electronic forms we can automatically capture and integrate the application data into our back-end systems. The Adobe LiveCycle server platform is improving accuracy and increasing internal efficiencies, while creating a more friendly experience for our job applicants."
