Prague's Japanese Restaurant Miyabi Delivers Special Offer for Oshogatsu

Osechi ryouri obento (from 1st January to 14th January)

In Japan the New year celebration “Oshogatsu” is the most important of all holidays. Before the end of the year, people clean up their homes and a cook meticulous set of long lasting meals “Osechi ryouri” . So when the new year comes people can spend less time with house work and more time celebrating and visiting their friends and relatives. In this spirit, Miyabi of Prague fame, presents the following special offering prepared by head-chef of Mr. Marek Hora.


Namasu
sour salad from carrot and Japanese radish daikon.
Kuromame
Mildly sweet black beans cooked in soy sauce. Black beans are symbol of dexterous work and health.
Kamaboko
Japanese fish cake, in combination of festive red slice and white slice.
Tazukuri
small fish roasted with soy sauce and sugar.
Yakisakana
Grilled fillets of sea bass.
Oshisushi
traditional long lasting type of sushi, with marinated salmon and mackerel
Ozóni
bright fish broth soup with mochi rice cake
Nashi
Japanese pear
