Project Insight, online project management software provider, has added the ability to import a list of users from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. This feature was part of the Project Insight's latest release version 9.2. It can be tedious and time consuming to enter long lists of team members one at time. Now by importing an entire list of users from an Excel file, adding resources to Project Insight is quick and simple.
Video of the new feature is available here:

To shorten the time it takes to get new project team members in Project Insight, now you may import a list of users from Excel. When exporting an Excel template from Project Insight, there is a 'default user import' option. However, administrators may utilize the 'display options' to add or remove columns creating a customized Excel template for use with the import. In order to ensure an accurate import, once a list has been imported into the project management system, the administrator validates the list before officially saving it to the system. "Listening to our customers' requests and feedback is a huge focus when we develop our software. This added feature is just another example of how we focus on making Project Insight the most usable project solution in the mid-market," said Jeff Berkel, COO, Project Insight.
