Fiorano Software, provider of SOA platform and enterprise middleware solutions, announced the release of a native, fully-managed .NET runtime for it’s
Enterprise Service Bus and SOA platforms. With this release, Fiorano
becomes the only ESB to provide native support for C, C++, Java and all
languages in the .NET framework, including C# and Visual Basic among others.
"The
addition of a native .NET runtime allows enterprise developers, for the first
time, to build, manage and deploy complex distributed applications using
multiple languages – as is the norm in most enterprises – over a single
framework", said Atul Saini, CEO and CTO of Fiorano."This release satisfies a
critical requirement from the industry, since most middleware platforms only
support a narrow set of runtime bindings – typically Java, with wholly
inadequate support for critical languages including C++ and C#. With the latest
Fiorano platform, developers can now exploit the power of high-speed messaging
and component-based, Service-Oriented development using a wide mix of
programming languages, giving them unparalleled flexibility in the development
of next-generation applications and business systems".
The Fiorano
ESB and SOA platform provides seamless integration environment for applications
developed using multiple technologies, including .Net, Java, C and C++. With
Fiorano’s native support for .NET, Java, C and C++ complex distributed processes
can now be developed without losing flexibility or performance.
".Net is
fast becoming the de-facto standard for programming by all windows developers,
resulting in almost all existing Visual Basic (VB), Visual C++ (VC++), and even
Foxpro developers migrating to .Net. These developers can now take advantage of
Fiorano to easily deploy complex processes that interface with C/C++ and Java
applications without losing any performance or flexibility, creating a rich
cross-language development environment for windows", added Atul Saini.
Fiorano’s
release of native runtimes for .NET, C and C++, in addition to already available
Java bindings, creates the industry’s first truly multi-language, multi-platform
middleware platform. Fiorano’s unique peer-to-peer distributed architecture
ensures linear, build-as-you-go scalability, while support for all popular
languages ensures a rich, flexible development experience for developers.
