ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - January 15, 2013) - MY TrueCloud extends its best-in-class web-conferencing solution to include Skype participants in support of our customers' drive to collaborate with their partners using Skype. Many small to medium size companies rely on Skype for their conferencing needs due to ease of use and no associated costs. However, the lack of security around Skype limits its ability to be used in situations requiring adherence to data privacy regulations and safeguarding proprietary information. MY Web Conferences extends above military-grade 2-Factor Authentication Security to Skype participants by issuing a One-Time Password ("OTP") via a simple meeting invitation generated by the meeting host. Once a Skype participant enters the OTP, the participant can now actively participate in a secure web meeting.
MY Web Conferences is built on the same principles found in Skype -- ease of use with no web or phone usage fees. MY Web Conferences supports both Voice-Over-IP (such as Skype) and land lines. A company decides the best form of communication access needed to conduct a web meeting. Regardless of the communication line, there are no web or telephone usage fees incurred. MY Web Conferences supports up to 1,000 participants from within or outside the company and they participate cost free in a highly interactive, easy to establish, secure meeting.
"MY TrueCloud's support of Skype allows companies to effectively communicate and collaborate with their customers and partners across the globe. Our goal is to emulate the in-house office meeting experience, and with MY Web Conference's advance functionality, we have achieved that goal. Companies will realize significant productivity improvements and rapid return on investment by deploying MY Web Conferences across their enterprise," explains Mitch Alcon, CEO.
MY TrueCloud allows participants to continue to use their Skype audio to connect to a MY Web Conferences meeting via MTC's SSL/VPN Tunneling Technology. The Skype participants can be individually invited to view MTC's White Board. The meeting host uses the White Board to display and discuss documents, presentations, and video while allowing participants the ability to mark-up, highlight, and make annotations on the item being viewed. Capturing ideas is the essence of real-time collaboration. If side-bar discussions are needed while a meeting is in progress, MY Web Conferences allows for the creation of private web Meeting Rooms to conduct those discussions while not leaving the primary meeting. Meeting Rooms will promote efficient and effective discussions.
MY TrueCloud is built on a 100% Cloud Architecture. MTC's approach allows our solution to work on any device (such as Apple, Android, Google, and Microsoft), any operating system (such as iOS, Windows, Java, and Linux), and anywhere in the World (available in 8 languages). MTC's SaaS offerings can be provided by MTC via the Cloud or on your own on-premise infrastructure. Working in the Cloud should not mean you lose control over your data, or are forced into long-term contracts. MTC offers both month-to-month and multi-year agreements, and you always own your data. Lower up-front costs, lower hardware and IT costs, plus big savings with no telephone or web conferencing usage fees combine for significant savings and ROI.
MY TrueCloud is an Aliso Viejo, California-based company. To learn more about our SaaS Cloud based collaboration solutions, contact Glen Passaretti at 866-426-5485 or email sales@mytruecloud.com.
