BeyondTrust, the security industry’s only provider of Context-Aware Security Intelligence, today announced that Brent Thurrell has been appointed Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. This latest appointment reflects the company’s growth strategy for expanding its local presence into these regions. Over the past year, BeyondTrust has focused efforts on expanding its international partner network to provide customers the visibility and controls necessary to reduce their IT security risks while at the same time simplifying their compliance reporting.

Thurrell brings extensive experience in the information security industry, with particular strengths including channel management, customer growth strategies and identity management. He’s worked for BeyondTrust since early 2012, when he joined the company as Sales Director, EMEA and India.

Prior to BeyondTrust, Thurrell held previous direct sales, account management and sales team management positions for Xerox and Capita in the UK. His experience includes the successful introduction and early stage growth of access governance vendor Aveksa and the Roles Based Access Control vendor Vaau (since acquired by Sun Microsystems) into the EMEA market.
