SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AppDynamics, the next-generation Application Performance Management solution that simplifies the management of complex apps, today announced it has been selected by Forbes Magazine as the number one cloud computing company to work for in a comparison of top cloud computing companies. Forbes determined the rankings based off of scores from Glassdoor.com, factoring in the percentage of employees who approve of their CEO and the percentage of employees would recommend their company to a friend.

According to the survey, 94% of employees would recommend AppDynamics to a friend, and 100% of employees improve of AppDynamics' CEO as of February 22, 2013.
AppDynamics continues to experience rapid growth, with the company recently securing a $50 million series D financing round. The round was financed by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), Greylock Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. The company also announced sales growth for AppDynamics grew at 300% CAGR in the past two years. AppDynamics has also brought on industry veterans Joe Sexton, former head of global Sales at McAfee, as President of Worldwide Field Operations, and Ed Rowe, former head of R&D for Adobe developer products, as Senior Vice President of Engineering.
