TMC and Crossfire Media today announced an action-packed agenda for DevCon5, the definitive HTML5 and Mobile App Developers Conference held July 24-25, 2013, at The Kimmel Center on New York University’s campus in New York City. DevCon5 will bring together the HTML5 elite to highlight the information and tools developers need to exploit the revolutionary capabilities of the HTML5 technology. Attendees will gain access to hands-on sessions that demonstrate the latest tricks and techniques that bring users’ screens to life.
“I am excited about the program and the way that many of our speakers are using game development as a way to talk about scale and discovery. The event always is focused on how enterprise apps and systems can take advantage of frameworks and hybrid development to control the cost of supporting the BYOD user,” said Carl Ford, Crossfire CEO and DevCon5 Content and Community Executive Director. “Content Producer Games are great learning tools to see what can be done and to think beyond how we use the web today. Game theory and development are part of system interaction to guide the user through the flow of all apps in the future.”
The DevCon5 event’s agenda will deliver a series of educational and informative sessions and opportunities to learn about the latest products, services, trends and developments in the HTML5 industry. Attendees will discover new ideas and connect with industry thought leaders through the two-day programming, as well as access a Career Fair and Mashup Reception on Wednesday, July 24 at 5:00 pm EST. DevCon5 will feature presentations delivered by Nickelodeon, Synacor, appMobi, Nokia, Adobe, Mozilla, HackMiami, HTML5.com and more, and programming currently includes:
