PrismTech™, a global leader in standards-based, performance-critical middleware, today announced ‘OpenSplice™ Everywhere’, a Data Distribution Service (DDS) compliant product family providing Real-time data delivery for enterprise, mobile and embedded platforms.
‘OpenSplice Everywhere’ includes:
- OpenSplice DDS v6.3 – the latest release of the most widely-used DDS implementation
- OpenSplice RTE v6.3 – the richest DDS implementation for Real-time and embedded (RTE) devices
- OpenSplice Lite v0.1 – an ultra-low overhead DDS implementation providing DDS connectivity for extremely resource-constrained devices (e.g. DSP, µcontroller-based)
- OpenSplice Mobile v1.0 beta – a pure Java DDS implementation optimized for J2*E Environments and Android OS
The ‘OpenSplice Everywhere’ family also introduces many new ease-of-use enhancements for developers, including:
- C++ PSM (Enterprise, RTE) and Java 5 PSM (Mobile) for simpler and safer programming that delivers exceptional developer productivity
- OpenSplice RnR, for distributed record and replay
- Other upgrades to OpenSplice’s development, testing, configuration and monitoring tools.
