OAUG Co-hosts COLLABORATE 13 Conference for Oracle Users

The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world’s largest knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, announced highlights from the successful COLLABORATE 13: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community conference that was held April 7-11, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo.

Key highlights from the show include:

  • 5,500 attendees rubbed elbows with 270 exhibitors and were exposed to 1,345 educational sessions. Specifically, the COLLABORATE 13 – OAUG Forum included more than 600 education sessions covering more than 10 Oracle product lines;
  • The following received awards for their outstanding service to the OAUG and its members: OAUG Member of the Year: Michael Brown of Colibri Limited, and OAUG Innovator of the Year: Reynolds Packing Group;
  • The Women in Technology luncheon and panel discussion drew more than 500 participants;
  • Oracle President Mark Hurd participated in a Q&A style presentation moderated by Constellation Research Principal Analyst R. Ray Wang on Tuesday, April 9, highlighting Oracle’s interest in engaging user groups to inform and educate customers, to secure customer feedback and ultimately to advance customer success and satisfaction.

In addition:

  • More than 20 Oracle experts met one on one with conference attendees to discuss topics related to the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Hyperion and Oracle Support Services;
  • Oracle executives presented a number of product strategy roadmap sessions and conducted exclusive usability feedback meetings to provide insights into Oracle’s user-centered design process.
  • Oracle employees presented more than 70 educational sessions as part of the OAUG Forum.

COLLABORATE 13 was presented jointly by the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG), the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) and Quest International Users Group (Quest).
