Edge Dynamics to Host Best Practices Webinar for Life Sciences Manufacturers

Industry Experts Will Address Best Practices for Building a Successful Demand-Driven Enterprise

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Edge Dynamics, the leading provider of channel commerce management (CCM) solutions, today announced that it will host a Best Practice Webinar for life sciences manufacturers titled "Get Real with the Demand-Driven Enterprise," which will feature industry experts from AMR Research and Accenture (ACN). The webinar will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2006 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM EDT and will be presented by Roddy Martin, vice president and general manager of AMR Research, and Jamie Hintlian, a supply chain practice partner for health and life sciences at Accenture. The two experts will discuss the business value of creating a "demand-driven enterprise" (DDE) to drive stronger corporate performance and improved patient safety within the life sciences industry. Greg Cathcart, Edge Dynamics' vice president and general manager, life sciences industry, will host the webinar.

As part of this webinar, Martin and Hintlian will show life science manufacturers how they can leverage channel commerce management solutions to improve channel inventory visibility and control, providing the first step in building a demand-driven enterprise. "As pressure on productivity and costs increase, manufacturers are moving to demand-driven business models for help," said Hussain Mooraj and Roddy Martin in the June 2006 AMR Research article, "Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Industry Overview."
