Message Partners Offers Support for Sun Java System Messaging Server

Dynamic and Scalable Solution for Offering Differentiated Email Filtering Services

Message Partners announced that it now offers email filtering solutions for service providers that use the Sun Java System Messaging Server.

The company said MPP (Message Processing Platform) gives service providers a dynamic and scalable solution for offering differentiated email filtering services with its powerful policy engine.

MPP also affords service providers a high-performance option for deploying best-of-breed commercial and open source technology with reduced risk, simplified management and real-time migration options.

"We are pleased to add support for the Sun platform because it is widely deployed in our key market, service providers," said Michael Katz, President of Message Partners. "MPP was designed for service providers, and with installations of MPP reaching over 1 million users we have proven that MPP is ready for the most demanding environments."

MPP provides a complete solution for anti-virus, anti-spam and content filtering. The core of MPP is our high-performance policy-engine, which enables configuration based on domain, direction, email address, or groups of addresses. MPP offers embedded functionality that is essential for email filtering applications such as per-user white/black lists, multiple spam actions, email archival, content filtering, attachment stripping, attachment filtering, disclaimers and more.

MPP works best with the Cloudmark Authority engine, but also works well with popular open source and commercial virus and scanners including SpamAssassin, ClamAV, Kaspersky, Sophos, Nod32, F-PROT and others
