Veeam Appoints Chris Moore as North American Channel Chief

Veeam ProPartner Program continues to expand as demand grows for protection in the modern data center

Veeam® Software on Wednesday announced that Chris Moore has been appointed as the company's Channel Chief of North America.

He and his team will play a key role in our effort to provide powerful and affordable data protection solutions to SMBs and expand our presence in the enterprise as we continue our mission to achieve $1 billion in revenue within the next five years."

Moore joined Veeam over two years ago from HP, where he managed the partner channel for StorageWorks, a division of HP. He was also responsible for channel metrics, operations and channel sales working closely with partners on go-to-market strategies to drive HP storage. Prior to HP, Chris spent seven years at a local VAR, where he was responsible for driving datacenter sales to mid-Atlantic vertical accounts.

"We attribute a large portion of our success selling the Veeam brand to not only the high-performance and reliability of the product, but to Chris as well," said Charles Bass, VP Alliances and Strategic Accounts at Promark Technology, a Veeam distributor.
