Under the leadership of Mocana CEO James Isaacs, these additions to the executive team will build on the robust momentum Mocana has already achieved to drive the next phase of the company’s growth, as the industry’s focus on securing enterprise mobile applications and the Internet of Things gains new urgency.

“Mocana has achieved great success in protecting several hundred million devices in the Internet of Things and enabling enterprise mobility, and is now uniquely positioned to unlock the extended enterprise by lowering mobile TCO and simplifying large-scale app deployments,” said James Isaacs, CEO at Mocana. “I look forward to working with John, Alan, Paul, Sandy, Damien and the rest of the Mocana team to accelerate the adoption of the company’s market-leading solutions to provide true security automation for the extended enterprise, the Internet of Things and the industrial Internet.”

New Executive Team Members

Prior to joining Mocana, Alan partnered in a software development company that created custom mobile applications for Fortune 500 companies. Alan also served in numerous executive-level positions over his 12-year tenure at BlackBerry where he ran the company’s enterprise business, services business and developer strategy organization.

At Cisco, he was general manager of the Prosumer, Endpoint Security and Smart Home business units and also served in several high-level M&A, market development, product management and strategy roles. Paul also held positions at Mayfield Fund, 3Com, Compaq and Texas Instruments.

Sandy Taylor – As the company’s chief financial officer, Sandy will apply her extensive experience as a financial executive to guide and direct Mocana’s strategic business model, manage risk and serve as the company’s financial conscience and backbone.
