SherWeb Makes Life Easier for Businesses Leaving Exchange 2003

Longtime hosting provider accelerates conversions to the Cloud with compelling free migration & free Outlook 2013 license offer

SherWeb has announced a special offer to assist businesses that must now move from Exchange 2003 Server due to Microsoft's decision to end all support on April 8, 2014.

End of support for critical software can spell disaster for businesses: no more patches, bug fixes or support by the tech giant, paving way to security risks and regulatory compliance violations. Organizations still running Exchange 2003 on-premise are therefore faced with three choices: do nothing and bear the risk associated with operating business-critical, unpatched software, upgrade to on-premise Exchange 2010 or 2013 and incur the immediate network and hardware upgrades and investments needed to run these more complex environments, or move to a hosted Exchange 2010 or 2013 solution on the Cloud to save on upfront capital expenditures and labor investment.

Recognizing that Exchange 2003 end of life and end of support put organizations in a difficult position, SherWeb is offering to make things a little easier. Through April 30, 2014, SherWeb is including free Outlook 2013 licenses, the client-side companion software to Exchange. Although existing Outlook 2003 licenses would be sufficient to continue operating Exchange 2010, they would not be compatible with Exchange 2013. SherWeb's offer would essentially permit businesses to migrate directly to Exchange 2013 as opposed to Exchange 2010 for no additional cost.

"In the last few months we have seen a surge of businesses still running Exchange 2003 on-premise scrambling to find an alternative. Lately, we've been hearing daily from businesses that do not ever again want to be in a position of losing support due to outdated software," says Rima Hatoum, SherWeb's Hosted Exchange Product Manager. "More than just a software, our enterprise-grade communication and collaboration solution offers perpetual benefits, from the most current versions of Exchange, to constant support and access to value-added services."

SherWeb handles its clients' migration process at no cost and ensures platform compliance and reliability, through its SLAs and notably its 99.999% network uptime guarantee. At the industry forefront in customer service, SherWeb boasts an average NP (Net Promoter) score of 70 and unlimited 24/7/365 North-American based technical support by Microsoft-certified technicians.
