Major Market Demand for Advanced Threat Protection Driving Rapid Platform Adoption and Expansion of Technology Ecosystem; Company Announces Integration With Palo Alto Networks’ Wildfire Platform

FAIRFAX, VA—April 7, 2014—Invincea, Inc., the market leader in the use of secure virtual containers for user protection against advanced cybersecurity threats, today announced accelerated momentum and major milestones, including:

  • The company added 54 new enterprise customers over the past two quarters across major industry verticals including retail, hospitality, casinos and gaming, energy, financial services, healthcare, transportation, defense industrial, high tech, oil and gas, and federal and state government. This builds on the growth that the company posted in the quarter previous to this period, and in a time when the company launched its first small business offering.
  • In the first quarter of 2014, the company’s advanced research division—Invincea Labs—secured $8.1M in new contracts for advanced cybersecurity projects for defense and federal government agencies in the areas of cloud-based advanced malware analysis, spear-phishing attacks against Android, and big data analytics for compromise detection. Invincea’s momentum in this area continues from its previous announcement of a $21.4M contract with the U.S. Army.
  • Invincea also continued to enhance the ability for its customers to achieve more comprehensive and holistic security by expanding its advanced threat protection ecosystem with integration into Palo Alto Networks’ WildFire platform. The partnership represents a strong collaboration in existing joint accounts to feed Palo Alto Networks’ WildFire platform with forensics gathered from Invincea FreeSpace™ virtual infections. At the RSA Conference in February 2014, the company announced threat intelligence partnerships with ThreatGRID and Reversing Labs.

With the first-of-its-kind deal with Dell in 2013, in which Invincea became the only advanced threat protection solution to ship straight from the factory on all Dell commercial devices, shipping on over 60 million devices over three years. Through its organic direct sales efforts, Dell’s distribution, and the acquisition of Sandboxie announced in late 2013, Invincea’s software is now deployed in nearly 15,000 organizations worldwide.
