Couchbase kündigt Betaversion von Couchbase Lite for .NET an

Couchbase, Inc., Anbieter der umfassendsten NoSQL-Datenbank, kündigte heute die Betaversion von Couchbase Lite for .NET an, die in Zusammenarbeit mit Xamarin entwickelt wurde. Couchbase Lite ist die weltweit erste und einzige mit allen Funktionen ausgestattete, flexible, mobile JSON-Datenbank der Welt, die dezentral auf dem Gerät läuft und von Grund auf für Mobilgeräte konzipiert wurde. Neben der Betaversion von Couchbase Lite for .NET kündigte Couchbase außerdem (LINK) die allgemeine Verfügbarkeit von Couchbase mobile an, die native Versionen von Couchbase Lite für iOS, Android und Java umfasst.

Die Betaversion von Couchbase Lite für .NET ist das Ergebnis der gemeinsamen Entwicklungsarbeit von Couchbase und Xamarin. Xamarin und Couchbase werden ihre gemeinsame Arbeit während der Betaphase fortsetzen und gehen davon aus, dass das Produkt im Herbst 2014 allgemein erhältlich sein wird. Darüber hinaus arbeiten Xamarin und Couchbase gemeinsam daran, den Code portabel zu machen, damit er auf iOS und Android über Xamarin sowie auf gängigen mobilen, Tablet- und Desktop-Plattformen mit Microsoft verfügbar sein wird.
