Michael Barquero Joins GenEra Strategies as Director of Enterprise Technologies

WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/02/14 -- GenEra Strategies ("GenEra"), a full service digital marketing agency, expands its management team adding Michael Barquero to the newly created position of Director of Enterprise Technologies.

Mike will lead GenEra's technology team of front-end and back-end Web Developers, Database Developers, Programmers, SEO Specialists, and E-Marketing Specialists. "Mike will work with GenEra clients in developing technology solutions to facilitate lead generation, executing marketing activities, reporting and analyzing data, and leading the development team on GenEra's DataHatch technology," said Todd Mason, GenEra Strategies' Chief Executive Officer. Todd continued, "The GenEra technology team, under Mike's leadership, also builds custom websites, e-commerce sites, social media platforms, third party APIs and mobile applications, and develops and manages complex database systems."

Prior to joining GenEra, Mike ran his own international IT solutions company, leading and engineering large-scale system development efforts as well as scaling solutions to size for smaller organizations. He has a strong background in vast development languages, including PHP, C++, .NET, Java, Python, and Perl. Mike also has broad experience in database development and design experience, having worked on SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL. His service administration experience includes UNIX/Linux and Windows.
