ZTE assisterà Telkom Indonesia nell'aggiornamento della rete backbone di Giava

ZTE Corporation ("ZTE") (codice azionario H: 0763.HK / codice azionario A: 000063.SZ), azienda leader a livello mondiale nella fornitura di apparati di telecomunicazioni, soluzioni di rete e dispositivi mobili, è lieta di assistere Telkom Indonesia nell'aggiornamento della rete backbone di Giava per garantire un aumento di capacità di dieci volte nella maggior parte della rete, che permetterà agli abbonati un'esperienza utente superiore.

Le soluzioni convergenti di trasporto ottico e di multiplazione con divisione di lunghezza d'onda (DWDM/OTN) leader del mercato di ZTE vengono utilizzate per aiutare Telkom Indonesia ad aggiornare la propria rete backbone di Giava da 10 gigabit al secondo (10G) a 100G di prossima generazione. Il nuovo sistema 100G coesisterà con l'attuale sistema 10G su una sola fibra ottica grazie alla soluzione Guard Band di ZTE che permette a queste due soluzioni di funzionare contemporaneamente.

La backbone di Giava, che copre Giava da est a ovest e collega tutte le principali città dell'isola, è la rete backbone più trafficata dell'Indonesia e ha la maggiore capacità totale di scambio e il più elevato tasso di crescita dati. Dato il numero di utenti in rapida crescita e i rapidi cambiamenti tecnologici, l'aggiornamento alla tecnologia 100G permetterà a Telkom Indonesia di sviluppare i propri servizi aziendali a banda larga migliorando al contempo l'esperienza utente. Telkom Indonesia è il maggiore fornitore di servizi di telecomunicazioni in Indonesia.

Nella modernizzazione della rete, ZTE fornisce a Telkom Indonesia il sistema ZXWM M920 DWDM, con l'intento di aiutare Telkom Indonesia a costruire una rete di supporto (DWDM/OTN) a prova di futuro. Inoltre la nuova rete coopererà con NetNumenTM U31 NMS di ZTE per creare reti flessibili, affidabili, gestibili ed economicamente vantaggiose che possono ingrandirsi per permettere il lancio dei nuovi servizi 100G.

La soluzione di ZTE permetterà a Telkom Indonesia di massimizzare il valore del suo investimento riducendo il costo totale di proprietà, garantendo elevata flessibilità, scalabilità ed espandibilità, oltre a maggiori affidabilità e sicurezza, manutenzione più facile e operazioni, amministrazione e gestione (OA&M) di rete più efficienti, permettendo trasmissioni a raggio superlungo e capacità di trasmissione 100G eccellente.

ZTE impiega con successo eccellenti soluzioni infrastrutturali per Telkom Indonesia da più di 10 anni. La cooperazione tra Telkom Indonesia e ZTE ha interessato tra gli altri i seguenti progetti:

1. Nel maggio del 2004 ZTE ha ottenuto il contratto come fornitore esclusivo per la costruzione della rete backbone di trasmissione a Giava, che ha interessato le principali città dell'isola.

2. Nel giugno del 2005 ZTE Corporation si è assicurata il contratto della Fase I del progetto di espansione delle capacità della rete backbone di Giava.

3. Nel dicembre del 2006 ZTE si è aggiudicata il contratto per il progetto DWDM TK del cavo sottomarino JDCS. Dopo l'assegnazione del contratto per la rete backbone di Giava, si è trattato della seconda volta che ZTE ha costruito una backbone WDM per Telkom Indonesia, con la fornitura di ulteriori soluzioni integrate chiavi in mano di cavi sottomarini. La rete, che ha ampliato la rete backbone di Giava, ha interessato tutte le principali città sulle isole di Giava e di Bali, le isole più densamente popolate dell'Indonesia.

4. Nel marzo del 2007 ZTE si è aggiudicata il contratto della Fase II del progetto di espansione delle capacità della rete backbone di Giava.

5. Nell'ottobre del 2007 ZTE si è aggiudicata il progetto di aggiornamento e ricostruzione della rete backbone di Java.

6. Nel novembre del 2007 ZTE ha ottenuto il contratto del progetto per la rete RMJ SDH per la costruzione della rete SDH sull'isola di Sumatra e per la fornitura di soluzioni integrate chiavi in mano a OSP.

7. Tra il 2009 e il 2013 ZTE ha completato svariati progetti per Telkom Indonesia, tra cui l'espansione della capacità di rete grazie all'aggiunta di 10G lambda nella rete backbone di Giava, nonché progetti di riconfigurazione nel collegamento esistente per ottimizzare la configurazione di rete.
