Telkom Indonesia contará con el apoyo de ZTE en la actualización de la red troncal de Java

ZTE Corporation («ZTE») (código accionario H: 0763.HK / código accionario A: 000063.SZ), proveedor mundial líder de equipos de telecomunicaciones, soluciones de redes y dispositivos móviles, que cotiza en bolsa, se complace en apoyar a Telkom Indonesia en la actualización de la red troncal de Java para ofrecer una capacidad 10 veces mayor en casi toda la red, lo que permitirá brindar a los abonados una experiencia de usuario de gran calidad.

Para ayudar a Telkom Indonesia a actualizar su red troncal de Java de 10 gigabits por segundo (10G) a la tecnología 100G de próxima generación, se están implementando las soluciones convergentes de multiplexación por división de longitud de onda densa/transporte óptico (DWDM/OTN, por sus siglas en inglés) líderes en la industria de ZTE. El nuevo sistema 100G coexistirá con el sistema actual de 10G en una fibra óptica, gracias a la solución Guard Band de ZTE que permite a estas dos tecnologías trabajar simultáneamente.

La red troncal de Java abarca toda la isla, de Este a Oeste, conecta a todas las ciudades importantes y es la red troncal más utilizada de Indonesia, representando la mayor capacidad total de intercambio y la mayor tasa de crecimiento de datos. Con el rápidamente creciente número de usuarios y la tecnología en constante evolución, la actualización a la tecnología 100G permitirá a Telkom Indonesia modernizar sus servicios empresariales de banda ancha y mejorar al mismo tiempo la experiencia del cliente. Telkom Indonesia es el mayor proveedor de telecomunicaciones de Indonesia.

Para modernizar la red, ZTE pone a disposición de Telkom Indonesia el sistema DWDM ZXWM M920. El sistema tiene como objetivo ayudar a Telkom Indonesia a construir una red portadora (DWDM/OTN) preparada para el futuro. Además, la nueva red funcionará conjuntamente con el sistema de gestión de redes NetNumenTM U31 de ZTE. De este modo se podrán construir redes gestionables, flexibles, confiables, rentables y escalables para permitir la implementación de los nuevos servicios que ofrece la tecnología 100G.

La solución de ZTE permitirá a Telkom Indonesia aumentar al máximo el valor de su inversión mediante la reducción del costo total de propiedad, ofreciendo alta flexibilidad, escalabilidad y posibilidades de expansión, además de mayor confiabilidad y seguridad, un mantenimiento más simple y operaciones, administración y gestión de red más eficientes, con transmisión de alcance superlargo y una excelente capacidad de transmisión de 100G.

ZTE ha implementado excelentes soluciones de infraestructura para Telkom Indonesia durante más de 10 años. La colaboración entre Telkom Indonesia y ZTE incluye los siguientes proyectos:

1. En mayo de 2004, ZTE se adjudicó el contrato como proveedor exclusivo para la construcción de la red troncal de transmisión de Java, que incluyó a las principales ciudades de la Isla de Java.

2. En junio de 2005, ZTE Corporation se adjudicó el contrato de la fase I del proyecto de ampliación de la capacidad de la red troncal de Java.

3. En diciembre de 2006, ZTE se adjudicó el contrato para comenzar el proyecto DWDM TK de despliegue del cable submarino JDCS. Tras la adjudicación del contrato de la red troncal de Java, esta fue la segunda vez que ZTE construyó una red troncal WDM para Telkom Indonesia, con la solución integrada de cable submarino adicional llave en mano incluida. Al igual que la ampliación de la red troncal de Java, la red incluyó a las principales ciudades de la Isla de Java y la Isla de Bali, las islas más densamente pobladas en Indonesia.

4. En marzo de 2007, ZTE se adjudicó el contrato de la fase II del proyecto de expansión de capacidad de la red troncal de Java.

5. En octubre de 2007, ZTE se adjudicó el proyecto de reconstrucción y actualización de la red troncal de Java.

6. En noviembre de 2007, ZTE se aseguró el contrato del proyecto de red RMJ SDH para construir la red SDH en la Isla de Sumatra y entregar una solución integrada llave en mano al proveedor de servicios en línea.

7. Entre 2009 y 2013, ZTE completó varios proyectos para Telkom Indonesia, incluidos la expansión de la capacidad de red, al añadir el nuevo canal 10G en la red troncal de Java, además de los proyectos de reconfiguración en el enlace existente para optimizar el diseño de la configuración de red.
