A Panasonic fornece contêiner de fonte de alimentação na Indonésia como um pacote independente de energia fotovoltaica

A Panasonic Corporation anunciou que instalou o "contêiner de fonte de alimentação", um pacote independente de energia fotovoltaica desenvolvido pela empresa, na escola primária Karimunjawa 01, localizada na ilha de Karimunjawa, distrito de Jepara, província central de Java, Indonésia. Em 17 de julho de 2014, foi realizada uma cerimônia de entrega juntamente com a Koperasi Pundih Artah, parceira do projeto, e o Institute of Business and Economic Democracy Foundation (IBEKA), uma ONG indonésia.

Karimunjawa é uma área onde a eletricidade está disponível à noite graças a geradores a diesel. No entanto, esses geradores são desligados durante o dia, quando os moradores da aldeia deixam de ter eletricidade disponível. Como a falta de energia para a aldeia durante o dia interfere nas atividades administrativas e comerciais, a melhoria do ambiente educacional tinha sido a prioridade principal para a ilha. Para resolver esse problema social, a Koperasi Pundih Artah, que recebeu o prêmio Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security [Concessão de Assistência para a Segurança de Populações Humanas], o IBEKA e a Panasonic lançaram um projeto para melhorar o ambiente educacional, fornecendo e instalando o contêiner de fonte de alimentação com a cooperação do distrito de Jepara e a embaixada do Japão na Indonésia.

Durante o horário escolar, o contêiner promove a melhoria do ambiente educacional ao permitir que as crianças utilizem dispositivos elétricos de iluminação LED, ventiladores de teto e materiais educacionais audiovisuais por meio de PCs e TVs. Quando não há aulas, a eletricidade é vendida para áreas próximas por intermédio de uma associação de gestão do contêiner de fonte de alimentação com o objetivo de contribuir com a ativação da comunidade regional e melhorar a infraestrutura regional de eletricidade.

A Panasonic tem se esforçado para fornecer o contêiner de fonte de alimentação e oferecer ao IBEKA a assistência técnica para este projeto. Enquanto isso, o IBEKA está apoiando o estabelecimento de associações de gestão em Karimunjawa para o funcionamento independente das fontes de alimentação, além de oferecer treinamento e suporte para sua gestão, operação e manutenção a fim de conseguir um suprimento de energia sustentável em Karimunjawa.

A Panasonic vai se esforçar ainda mais para estender uma fonte de alimentação estável para áreas sem energia elétrica, bem como fontes de energia de backup a locais que sofrem apagões frequentes, o que permitirá melhor apoio social e incluirá fontes de energia de emergência em caso de catástrofes. A Empresa proporcionará um estilo de vida mais rico e confortável na Indonésia e em outros países emergentes que possuam problemas na infraestrutura de energia elétrica.

O contêiner de fonte de alimentação está equipado com doze módulos solares "HIT(R)240" da Panasonic, que possuem alta eficiência de conversão e podem gerar aproximadamente 3 kW de eletricidade. Ele pode fornecer também energia armazenada em 24 baterias de chumbo embutidas (17,2 kWh no total).
