Greg Murray is the AJAX architect for Sun Microsystems and recently a Java Rock Star. Greg has been deeply involved in the AJAX movement through his participation in the OpenAjax Alliance and contributions to the Dojo Foundation's open-source JavaScript toolkit. Within Sun, Greg lead a grass roots effort advancing the integration of client-side scripting with Java technologies and is the creator and principal architect of Project jMaki.
Sun's AJAX architect Greg Murray will also present a session on Java technologies which are the backbone of many of the conventional web applications services in use today. The emergence of AJAX and Web 2.0 does not require that we scrap all of our web applications though it does cause us to think differently in how we design and manage our applications and services. This talk will cover building enterprise Web 2.0 style applications using Java.
