Since May 2006, when Xactly Incent went live on the AppExchange, Xactly has signed a number of customers -- including CNET, NetQoS, QuoteRetriever.com, BlueArc Corporation, PostX, WageWorks, Inc., Sylantro Systems, Riverbed, F5, Linksys, DoubleClick, Cablevision, Powerlight, Speakeasy, SonicWALL, Procuri and SchoolDude.com -- that are either directly attributable to lead generation via the AppExchange or who are who accessing Xactly Incent by way of the AppExchange. These businesses -- representing software and technology, media and entertainment, financial services, technology services, manufacturing and distribution, telecom and education -- now benefit from sales compensation management within their Salesforce implementations.
"AppExchange has proven itself to be an excellent marketing channel and lead generation vehicle that complements our direct selling efforts," said Karen Steele, Xactly vice president of marketing. "Salesforce.com customers are realizing tremendous synergies and business efficiencies by combining on-demand CRM and on-demand sales compensation management. Xactly is fundamentally changing the way businesses manage sales compensation and motivate sales reps to increase sales productivity and profits."
Xactly Incent for AppExchange is used by sales and finance executives, compensation analysts, sales operations and sales professionals. Xactly Incent's rules-based architecture gives companies the flexibility to easily create and manage any type of compensation plan with minimum initial investment and low cost of ownership.
"Sales compensation management and CRM go hand-in-hand, so it's no surprise that customers are deploying Xactly Incent with Salesforce," said Matt Holleran, vice president, AppExchange partners, salesforce.com. "The tight integration Xactly provides with Salesforce via the AppExchange is a significant benefit to our customers."
"Xactly provides tremendous business value by enabling salesforce.com customers to immediately extend their investment in Salesforce by integrating with Xactly Incent," said Jeff Kaplan, THINKstrategies, founder and managing director. "The combination of on-demand CRM and on-demand sales compensation is a powerful catalyst for driving sales performance and for motivating sales teams to sell more."
Xactly Incent's patent-pending Incentive Estimator provides Salesforce customers with the ability to run "what-if" scenarios based on Salesforce opportunities or estimated sales to calculate potential commission and bonus estimates and payments before, during and after a sale. From Xactly Incent, customers can quickly access the Salesforce opportunities of interest by using filters on information such as date and probability of closure.
Xactly is the first and only company completely focused on delivering a 100% on-demand sales compensation management solution. It is also the first and only company to deliver a true multi-tenant solution in a SAS 70 Type II certified environment. This single-minded approach enables Xactly to minimize hardware and software infrastructure costs -- savings that are then passed on to customers -- and accelerate the process by which it delivers new features and functionality.
