WebLogic Server 10.0 Passes the Java EE5 Compatibility Test Suite

Bill Roth Gives An Update on His Blog

Bill Roth (pictured), writing on his Industry Blog here at SYS-CON.com, writes: "As some of you have seen from the trade press, WLS 10 has passed the EE5 tests. This was an extremely difficult run, as Sun added an enormous number of new tests."

Java EE 5 compliancy means that WLS 10 includes support for the new EJB 3.0 technology. BEA describes WLS 10 as "the rock-solid foundation for enterprise applications and SOA services."
