Dave Wolf (pictured), a Vice President at Cynergy, one of the largest RIA development firms in the world, will be speaking at AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2007 East, being held 19-21 March at The Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. He joins a stellar line-up of luminaries behind the Next-Generation Internet. "Go out and take a survey of development teams and their first foray into developing a Rich Internet Application, regardless of technologies (Flex, AJAX, WPF/E) and my guess is you will hear stories of pain, misery and failure," Wolf explains.
The reason, Wolf will contend, at his AJAXWorld talk in General Session on March 20, is that "developing RIAs is really tough." Here's how he explains it:
"To complicate the matter, Wolf continues, "if you do have them, they likely aren’t very good at working together."
Wolf will talk about how to build a truly world-class RIA development team from designers, to experience & enterprise development teams to how they work and where to enable you and your own teams to build incredible applications.
