TORONTO, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- View22 Technology Inc. ("View22") a leading provider of 3D Web commerce solutions, and Planit, a leading developer of design and manufacturing software, today announced plans to collaborate in offering a best-of-breed 3D design solution for home product retailers in multi-store environments.
The effort provides immediate benefits to retailers in the kitchen, bath and other home product markets that want to offer customers a seamless approach to plan, design and shop on the web, at a kiosk and/or with an in-store design consultant. The combination of View22's Immersiv 3D Web platform and Planit's Fusion software, allows consumers to explore options and create designs from their home computer or in-store kiosk, then order online or save the project, book an appointment with a sales consultant at the store and optimize the design before placing an order in person.
This start-to-finish process promises to decrease the bottleneck and expense of design consultations and increase buyer conversion rates. A Planit spokesperson said, "We are very pleased to be able to work with View22 to enhance the value of our Planit Fusion solution. We're now the first to offer a truly complete multi-store solution with a very impressive, visually rich 3D Web experience for both our customers and the end-consumer."
View22's Immersiv 3D Web platform lets customers use all popular 3D file formats including: 3D Studio Max, SketchUp!, DWF, DXF, OBJ, and IGES. This open design allows companies to leverage and re-deploy existing 3D digital assets. By integrating Immersiv with Planit Fusion, driven by one catalog with file compatibility for geometry data exchange, View22 and Planit have dramatically shortened the time to implement this best-of-breed solution in multi-store environments.
"This relationship is consistent with our strategy to enable market leading partners to enhance the value delivered to their customers through our Immersiv platform," said Amnon Zohar, View22's CEO and President, Europe. "Planit's leadership in the kitchen, bath, stone and woodworking markets and View22's proven success in user-friendly, high-quality 3D Web solutions make this a win-win scenario for both companies and our customers."
