Version 1.0 of JGraphAddons Introduced

Java open source graphics visualizing software, JGraph, has introduced some improvements in the functionality of its drop-down menus.  Version 1.0 of JGraphAddons has been released.  The new release fixes some minor bugs and offers some new cell types.

Jgraph has been used as a general-purpose drawing utility.  It is considered to be better than some commercial graph-making tools.  The filter offers extreme portability and integration into UNIX.  On the server-side, it can be used to read a GXL graph, apply a custom layout algorithm, and return the result as an SVG image.

JGraph has seen in recent months more revisions and updates to its software.  Mainly because it has been released under a commercial license, starting with version 5.0, and a General Public License (GPL) as well.
