As
server virtualization gains mainstream adoption, it is increasingly being
deployed to support a broad range of data center initiatives that extend beyond
simple server consolidation and development and test. Today, enterprises of all
sizes are realizing the true potential of server virtualization and using it to
streamline their data centers to create more flexible and dynamic IT
infrastructure that enables them to deploy and manage software applications,
support business continuity and balance CPU capacity dynamically. This session
will examine the emergence of this new operating environment and its dramatic
potential impact for users. It will also look at some of the critical
considerations for users and how these decisions can impact their data center
roadmap.
