Attachmate unveiled the latest version of its mainframe application integration solution, Attachmate Verastream Host Integrator 6.6. The new version includes new features and functionality that eliminate the technical complexity and code generation associated with legacy integration, offering IT organizations a low-risk, low-cost approach to legacy-to-SOA integration. The addition of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) validation by the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) provide enhanced security, a requirement for any cryptographic product that will be used in a U.S. government agency network and is critical for working with strategic federal government accounts.
