Shavlik Technologies announced its partnership with managed service provider (MSP), BlueLock.

The partnership enables BlueLock to deliver security patch management, application control, and configuration management via a cost effective, operationally efficient, and highly available solution that can scale to the needs of any customer. The Shavlik Security Suite provides BlueLock a very streamlined approach to the security and compliance management of both physical and virtual systems.

One way in which BlueLock will leverage the Shavlik Security Suite is by offering additional value through the delivery of compliance reports to those clients concerned with managing and maintaining various regulatory compliance states, such as PCI. BlueLock will use the Shavlik Security Suite to automatically generate and post PCI reports for customers on the customer portal that BlueLock provides for each of its infrastructure clients. BlueLock clients can log on to their client portal and review reports on current security and compliance posture at any time.
