Analyst Firm Places Oracle in Leaders Quadrant for Horizontal Portal Products

Based on completeness of vision and ability to execute on that vision

Gartner Magic Quadrants position vendors within a particular market segment based on their completeness of vision and their ability to execute on that vision. According to Gartner, vendors in the Leaders quadrant "have a full range of capabilities to support a range of portal deployment scenarios and have demonstrated consistent product delivery in meeting customer needs for a substantial period of time. Leaders have delivered significant product innovation and have been successful in selling to new customers across industries."

Oracle WebCenter Suite integrates technology from Oracle Fusion Middleware and BEA Systems to enable organizations to securely provide extranet and intranet portals along with composite applications that integrate processes, content, business intelligence, and enterprise application information in a single user interface. It also enables delivery of a broad range of Enterprise 2.0 services, such as wikis, blogs, discussion forums, secure search, and RSS feeds, through these portals and communities.
