GigaSpaces Technologies has announced that Nati Shalom, founder and CTO, will be presenting at The Cloud Computing Expo. Shalom is a world-renowned evangelist of grid technology and cloud computing. In his role at GigaSpaces, he has worked with dozens of large organizations in the financial industry, telecommunications and the web on implementing linearly scalable, reliable applications.
In Shalom's November 19 Cloud Computing Expo session, "Getting Ready for the Cloud," he will present the key challenges facing developers as they construct applications to run in highly distributed, on-demand environments presented by Cloud Computing. The presentation will provide an approach to building applications to run efficiently in such environments, including converting existing JEE applications to a scale-out architecture. Also included will be a ten minute demonstration on turning an existing tier-based application into a tireless, scaled-out application running on the EC2 Cloud.
