Active Endpoints has announced it will collaborate with 15 of the world's leading companies on an open community to improve software interoperability, resulting in improving the quality of web services standards. The ultimate goal of the Web Services Test Forum (WSTF) is to identify interoperability issues as early as possible in order to eliminate obstacles to adopting web services. Customer-based scenarios will be developed to test or validate applications and services in a multi-vendor environment, dramatically reducing the IT and financial burdens traditionally required for in-house testing.
Applications developed in a services-oriented architecture (SOA) environment place an even greater burden on the development and deployment environment to support comprehensive testing for critical enterprise applications. Visual orchestration systems (VOS), by virtue of being all-in-one environments, offer integrated scenario testing and remote debugging, as well as support for standards, a visual development environment and scalable execution servers. The results of the WSTF's real-world interoperability scenarios will enhance a VOS's ability to adequately test loosely coupled, message-based applications.
ActiveVOS is the a 100% standards-based, complete and affordable visual orchestration system for creating true services-oriented architecture (SOA) based applications. With ActiveVOS, business analysts and developers use a single, integrated system to design, deploy and manage business processes. Download a 30-day, fully supported trial of ActiveVOS at http://www.activevos.com/download-trial.php.
