Go Wild Wirelessly with Bluetooth and Java
As a frequent visitor to J2ME and Bluetooth developer forums, I've noticed that one of the most frequently asked questions is 'How do I get started with Bluetooth?' Despite its introduction in 1998 and a highly hyped year in 2001, Bluetooth application development remains hideous and challenging for lots of developers.
Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1

Ben,

I've found java code from you in a project called navlet. However the website it refers to (benhui.net) no longer seems to exist. Could you please tell me what happend to your net.benhui.btgallery code?

So how did you go about choosing 0x6600BC as your service UUID? Is there a ''application vendor free-for-all'' range from which you''ve selected at random, or is this the result of a registry allocation? (Or something else?)

Thanks for the article, though - a good read and nice lead-in to JSR82

It looks like Rococo simulator is no more available
for download?
Any ideas how to get it...

Thanks
Eugene

I can''t find the source code of the BlueCHAT example
