A mere 5 ½ months after contract singing, net-linx is
pleased to announce that Folha de Londrina has taken nxAdvertising into live
use, including 12 remote locations, supporting some 30 remote users.
Folha de Londrina, a daily metro, is located in Londrina in the state of Parana,
approximately 500km West of Sao Paulo in Brazil. Folha de Londrina is a
privately owned publishing company.
The Latin American region is one of the fastest growing
newspaper markets in the world and many publishers are modernizing their
operations to take advantage of the anticipated growth of the next few years.
Folha de Londrina is no exception and preferred a single vendor to provide
solutions for advertising, production, ad make-up AND Internet.
"We looked at multiple system vendors, but decided on
nxAdvertising mainly because of its superior technology," said Renato
Ferraz, Folha de Londrina's IT Manager. "Our business is growing and the
flexibility offered by the net-linx solutions is very important to us."
nxAdvertising has also been integrated with Folha de
Londrina's various web verticals. VRUM for automotive ads, LugarCerto for real
estate and Bonde for all others. Multi-buy packages make the scheduling of
cross-media XML ads a breeze. A self serve module in VRUM allows customers to
book their own ads, which can be published on-line in VRUM, in print or both
media types.
With the 30 remote users and ads streaming in from the web,
more ad content is created externally than by users in-house, a feat made
possible by the web architecture of nxAdvertising.
